Update on Mom's cancer

My Mom finished her radiation and thankfully didn't have any more treatments added on. She met with her doctor on Monday and he's getting her started on a script for Arimidex. She had a coupon for a free month's worth (30 days) of this, and found out it'll cost her $30/mo. after that, which is a bit costly for an older couple on a fixed monthly income. The pharmacist was extremely helpful with my Mom, and told her she should call the drug company and see if they'll give her some more vouchers or some type of assistance. Now, that's going above & beyond! I'm so thankful that she's been able to find a place to get reduced costs on her prescriptions (she goes to this place often - she's shopped around & they always have the lowest pricing) and that they try helping her as much as they can! This medication will be something she'll be on for five years, so any help she can get will be wonderful! We'll also be praying the side effects will be minimal, if not non-existent (especially the slight risk for bone loss, which is a concern at her age).
